Who AM I?
To start, my name is Anthony. I am a chronically ill, disabled, multiply neurodivergent, queer, and trans therapist based in Queens, New York. I am an artist, a writer, and a punk. As a rebellious individual, I am not your run-of-the-mill therapist, and I specialize in providing support for LGBTQ+ disabled and chronically ill individuals who are navigating the complexities of their overlapping identities and the systems that cause harm. I also provide support for the kink community, as well as those who engage in poly/non-traditional relationships.
I am passionate about de-centering the “normal,” making room for the parts that have been shamed and marginalized, and providing care that focuses on trust, collaboration, and, when appropriate, humor.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in NY. I graduated from NYU Steinhardt in 2021 with my master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness. Prior to working in private and group practice, I worked at a non-profit that focused on bias crimes and reintegrating individuals into our communities. To this day, I hold strong ties to community and focus on furthering my education around marginalized groups and community members.
